To provide fire and emergency medical service support to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and to further promote fire and health related safety in the community by means of education, training and support at events within the community.
McLean VFD Leadership
The McLean VFD is lead by two groups of elected officials - Officers and a Board of Directors. Together these groups manage the day to day operations of the organization and prepare the organization for the future.
The Board of Directors consists of ten members of the organization. Six of the seats are for members who are elected directly to the board. The remaining four seats are reserved for the President, Vice President, Chief and Assistant Chief.
